The start of this hike is in Lavin and leads up to the Lavinuoz Valley and to Chamanna Marangun. It is most likely the last chance this year for such a hike – the weather forecast has announced snow for the next day.

The trail becomes steep with poles marking the trail,

The last part before the Fuorcla Zadrell leads over of big rocks. It is already October. The shadow side of the rocks is covered with ice. Some care is required on the first meters down towards Vernela Valley.

The view back towards the fuorcla Zadrell but also down the valley is beautiful.

After a long hike down I reach Klosters. It is already quite late and dark – no wonder, November starts next week.
